About PanTrove

PanTrove is an independent directory that helps pet owners compare local veterinary clinics by what they actually offer — services, team, hours, emergency care and online booking — checked against each clinic’s own website.

Why we built it

Finding the right vet usually means scrolling star ratings that are easy to game and hard to compare. A 5.0 from three reviews tells you less than a 4.6 from four hundred. We take a different approach: we read each clinic’s own website, pull out the verifiable facts, and present them in a clear, comparable summary.

How it works

Each clinic gets a completeness score — a measure of how much useful, verified information the clinic publishes about itself. It is not a quality or medical rating, and we never rank by star rating alone. Read the full method on our how we rank page.

Independent & free

PanTrove is free to use. Clinics cannot pay to rank higher or to change their score — listings and scores are based only on public information. If we ever earn revenue from advertising or affiliate links, it is labelled and kept separate from rankings. See our disclosure.

Coverage

We currently cover veterinary clinics across Melbourne and Victoria, Australia, and are expanding to new areas. We re-check clinic websites regularly and stamp each page with the date it was last verified.
